Chateau Boyd-Cantenac is a wine producer situated in the Margaux appellation on the left bank of Bordeaux. The history of the Chateau dates back to 1754 and oyd-Cantenac's main Medoc vineyard is planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, all of which feature in the grand vin. The grapes are harvested by hand and are fermented and barrel-aged individually by block. The grand vin is blended from the best barrels, with the remainder put aside to be blended with wines from younger vines for the estate's second wines.
