🏰 Les Vins de Vienne was founded by three prominent Rhône winemakers, Yves Cuilleron, Pierre Gaillard, and François Villard, with a vision to revive forgotten vineyards and appellations of the Northern Rhône. Their 'Joseph Rouge Le Biez' is a testament to their commitment to expressing the unique terroir of the region, typically a Syrah-dominant blend. The 2020 vintage in the Northern Rhône was generally considered excellent, producing wines with great ripeness, concentration, and a beautiful balance of fruit and acidity, promising both immediate enjoyment and good aging potential. Expect a wine with a deep color, aromatic complexity, and a palate that showcases the power and elegance characteristic of Northern Rhône Syrah.
🍴 This robust Northern Rhône red is an ideal partner for hearty and flavorful dishes. It pairs exceptionally well with roasted game, grilled red meats, lamb, and rich stews. Its peppery and savory notes also make it a fantastic match for dishes featuring olives, herbs, or smoked elements. Consider serving it with strong, aged cheeses.
🥂 Perfect for a celebratory meal, a gathering of Rhône wine enthusiasts, or as a sophisticated accompaniment to a gourmet dinner. Its balance of power and elegance makes it suitable for enjoying now, but it also has the structure to evolve gracefully with further cellaring. 【由隆河谷三巨頭創立,致力於復興北隆河風土的典範】
BACKGROUND
Les Vins de Vienne is a unique collaborative project founded in 1996 by three legendary Northern Rhône winemakers: Yves Cuilleron, Pierre Gaillard, and François Villard. Originally created to revive the ancient vineyards of Seyssuel, the négociant business now produces wines from across the Rhône Valley. 'Le Biez' is their Saint-Joseph rouge, crafted entirely from Syrah. It showcases the classic Northern Rhône style, offering a harmonious balance of dark berry fruit, cracked black pepper, and savory olive notes, supported by smooth tannins and a fresh finish.
