The Quella vineyard, planted in 1998/99, is uniquely situated on well-draining sandy soils with river cobbles and volcanic ash, contributing to its distinctive character. 【This 2019 Quella is an elegant, pure, and focused wine, deep purple-black in color, offering a classic nose of fresh blue fruit and minerality, accented by crushed stone, blueberry, and blackberry.】 The palate is medium to full-bodied, with red plums, mulberries, iron, spice, and tobacco notes, supported by fierce yet creamy-supple tannins and juicy, mouthwatering acids, leading to a long finish of red and black currants. 🍴 This powerful Cabernet Sauvignon is an excellent companion for beef and venison.
