🏰 The 2018 Lamy Caillat Bourgogne Blanc is 【ridiculously good for its level】, often described as a very serious Bourgogne. This Chardonnay offers a beautiful nose of white flowers, pear, green apple, almonds, and pastry cream. On the palate, it's bright, layered, tangy, and precise, with a core of white peach, smoky mineral reduction, and citrus blossom. It boasts an unctuous and silky texture, with refreshing citrus rind freshness and a long, mineral finish.
🍴 This versatile white Burgundy pairs wonderfully with chicken and turkey dishes, grilled pizza with lemon and arugula, or rich sauces featuring cream and butter. It's also excellent with raw and cooked seafood, goat cheese salads, or light spring rolls.
🥂 Perfect for everyday enjoyment, casual dinners with friends, or as a refreshing aperitif. Its impressive quality for a regional Bourgogne makes it a delightful choice for any occasion.
Serving suggestion: This wine is entering a good drinking zone and is still very fresh and vital. Serve well chilled at 10-12°C.
