🏰 The 2012 Marchand Tawse Gevrey-Chambertin Champeaux 1er Cru is a vibrant red Burgundy, showcasing the power and elegance typical of Gevrey-Chambertin. The 2012 vintage in Burgundy was a low-yielding but high-quality year, producing concentrated wines with excellent balance and freshness. Expect a complex nose of 【red and black cherries, wild berries, earthy undertones, and a hint of spice and floral notes】. The palate is concentrated and precise, with firm yet refined tannins, bright acidity, and a long, savory finish. This wine beautifully expresses the terroir of Champeaux.
🍴 This expressive red Burgundy is an excellent companion for roasted game birds, pan-seared duck breast, or a classic beef bourguignon. For an Asian pairing, consider a delicate Cantonese roast pigeon or a refined Japanese sukiyaki.
🥂 Ideal for a special dinner, a Burgundy tasting, or for cellaring to enjoy its evolution over the next decade.
