Forey Pere & Fils, Vosne Romanee Les Petits Monts 1er Cru, 2021
🏰The 2021 vintage in Burgundy was challenging, marked by unpredictable weather, yet producers like Forey Père & Fils crafted wines of character. While specific tasting notes for the 2021 Vosne Romanée Les Petits Monts 1er Cru are still emerging, the vineyard is known for producing wines with 【elegance, aromatic complexity, and a silky texture】. Expect classic Vosne-Romanée characteristics of red fruits, floral notes, and a subtle minerality, reflecting the terroir even in a difficult year.
🍴 This elegant red Burgundy would be superb with pan-seared duck breast, roasted guinea fowl, or a delicate mushroom risotto. For an Asian pairing, consider Cantonese steamed fish with ginger and spring onion, or a light char siu.
🥂 Ideal for a sophisticated dinner party or a quiet evening appreciating fine Burgundy, this wine will benefit from a few years in the cellar to fully express its nuances.
