🏰The exceptionally rare 2021 Louis Jadot Musigny Grand Cru, with only one barrel produced, offers a profound expression of Pinot Noir. It unveils a complex bouquet of raspberries, plums, orange rind, exotic spices, and rose petals, leading to a medium to full-bodied palate with powdery tannins, lively acids, and a saline, perfumed finish, hinting at juniper and white pepper.
🍴 This prestigious red Burgundy is perfect with roasted duck, goose, or other game birds. It also pairs beautifully with mushroom-based dishes or a selection of fine, aged cheeses.
🥂 Fit for a truly special occasion, a celebratory dinner, or a serious tasting among connoisseurs.
BACKGROUND
Louis Jadot is a prominent Burgundy wine producer and négociant. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are the primary grape varieties featured. The house was established in Beaune in 1859 by Louis Jadot. The company has seen several leadership changes: Gagey's son Pierre-Henry took over as president in 1991, Gagey died in 1999, and Lardière retired in 2012. Frédéric Barnier, who joined in 2010, is now the head winemaker, and Thibault Gagey has joined his father Pierre-Henry in leading the firm.
