🏰 The 2003 Coche Dury Meursault hails from an excellent Burgundy vintage, characterized by a mild winter, early spring, and a searing hot summer. Coche-Dury is one of Burgundy's most prestigious estates, renowned for its exceptional white wines, with their signature ageing on lees imparting characteristic toasty and mineral notes. 【This Meursault offers an attractive bouquet of honeydew melon, beeswax, and wild heather honey, developing a popcorn scent with aeration. The palate presents classic Meursault notes of walnut and hazelnut, though some critics suggest a slightly bitter, sour lemon finish, possibly indicating it's reaching its peak】.
🍴 This buttery and complex white Burgundy is a superb match for roasted chicken or turkey, creamy pasta dishes, and rich seafood.
🥂 Ideal for a special dinner, a gathering of Burgundy enthusiasts, or as a luxurious treat. This wine is drinking well now but has likely reached its plateau. Serve at a cool cellar temperature of 12-14°C (54-57°F) in Burgundy glasses.
