🏰The 2020 Robert Sirugue Grands Echezeaux Grand Cru is a remarkable 布根地 red, 【showcasing the pinnacle of Sirugue craft with a richer and more powerful expression from a hot and dry vintage】. This Grand Cru, with negligible production often reserved for top restaurants, offers a vibrant bouquet of ripe cherries, earthy truffles, and exotic spices. The palate is sublimely lean and elegant, with delicious complexities that unravel slowly, revealing firm, chalky tannins and a long, savory finish. Notes of black cherry, rose petals, Indian spices, and classic Vosne characteristics are prominent, with the fruit pushed forward by the vintage's heat.
🍴 This exquisite Pinot Noir pairs wonderfully with roast duck with cherry sauce, coq au vin, and various game dishes. Aged Époisses cheese also makes a fantastic match.
🥂 A compelling choice for wine connoisseurs and collectors, this wine is ideal for significant dinners or special occasions. It possesses excellent cellaring potential, recommended for drinking roughly between 2030 and 2050, as it truly needs time to evolve and show its best.

Its primary focus is on Pinot Noir, mostly at the village level, although it has some small plots in grand and premier cru vineyards. Sirugue also makes a single white wine from Aligoté and a Passe-tout-grains. The family-owned domaine was founded in the late 19th Century, and is currently run by the fifth generation. It is part of the Domaines & Vins de Propriété Bourgogne, a cooperative of Burgundy producers that helps distribute and promote its members' wines, and it currently represents more than 150 estates.
