DETAILS
Château Montrose is a winery in the Saint-Estèphe appellation of the Bordeaux region of France. The wine produced here was classified as one of fourteen Deuxièmes Crus (Second Growths) in the original Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855.
The stylish Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé, headquartered in Côte de Nuits, Burgundy, is one of the most famous wine producers in the region. This historic family estate, whose lineage stretches back nearly half a millennium and is part of local history, produces elegant wines made from Pinot Noir and has acreage in several Grand Cru vineyards. . Mousigny's steep hillsides and rocky, fragile soils, along with the winemaker's skill, combine to produce rich wines with aromas of violets, raspberries and blackberries. This wine is one of the most expensive wines from Chambord-Musigny, is highly collectible and can be aged for decades.
