🏰 Delas Frères Côte-Rôtie "Seigneur de Maugiron" is a blend from Côte Brune and Côte Blonde, known for its powerful yet subtle nose and silky texture. The 1988 vintage in Northern Rhône was generally good, producing wines with structure and aging potential.
🍴 Fine meats, roast beef, game (waterfowl), truffles, and spicy stews are excellent pairings.
🥂 This wine is ideal for a sophisticated dinner party, a special occasion celebrating a milestone, or a vertical tasting of Rhône wines.
Given its age, decanting for 1 to 3 hours is recommended to allow the wine to breathe and reveal its full complexity. Serve at 15.5°C (60°F). Be gentle with the cork and capsule, as older wines can be delicate.
