FEATURES
🏰 The 2007 Domaine Jamet Côte-Rôtie is described as incredibly expressive, with pretty but wild dark fruit and a slight mocha note. It's open-knit and pleasurable, gaining complexity with air, and considered an exquisite wine. Critics note its clean and precise nose, with melted tannins, refined and smooth on the palate, having reached its peak drinking plateau. This very pretty and impressively complex wine was recommended to be drunk before the less-evolved 2006. Expect deep ruby color with vibrant aromas of blackberry, kirsch, licorice, violet, and smoky Indian spices. The palate is firm and intense, with alluring sweetness and fleshiness to the red and dark berry and floral pastille flavors. Other notes include fresh bay leaf, leather, pepper, tobacco, and mulled plum. 【Incredibly expressive and exquisitely complex Northern Rhône Syrah at its peak drinking plateau】.
🍴 Ideal pairings include Cassoulet, Beef Brisket, Venison, Duck, Beef Stroganoff, Lamb, and Rabbit. Its smoky and spicy aromas of bacon fat, coffee, earth, herbs, and pepper make it perfect for red meat dishes. Roasted duck, lamb shanks, and venison stew are also excellent matches.
🥂 An excellent choice for a sophisticated dinner, a gathering of wine enthusiasts, or a special occasion where a mature and complex Northern Rhône Syrah is desired.
