This wine comes from Artadi's three best and highest-altitude vineyards, all planted with Tempranillo vines over 75 years old. It is aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels, giving it a rich and complex flavor profile.
BACKGROUND
Artadi was founded in 1985 by Juan Carlos Lopez de Lacalle in the Rioja region of Spain. The estate spans 70 hectares at about 630 meters altitude. It gained recognition in the 1990s for its intense fruit aromas and freshness from organic, eco-friendly practices.
