🏰 The 2010 Bizot Echezeaux Grand Cru is a 【rare and highly sought-after Burgundy from a producer renowned for natural winemaking】, offering elegance and balance from a vintage known for high acidity and a small, ripe crop. The 2010 Burgundy vintage was characterized by its high acidity and a small, ripe harvest. It is often favorably compared to 2007 and 2009 for its open, forward fruit and lushness, combined with excellent overall balance. Expect a wine of great finesse and complexity, with a captivating bouquet of red fruits, delicate floral notes, and subtle earthy undertones. The palate should be elegant and refined, supported by fine tannins and a vibrant acidity, beautifully reflecting the harmonious balance of the 2010 vintage.
🍴 This fine Grand Cru Burgundy pairs exquisitely with sophisticated dishes such as roasted game birds (like pheasant or duck), luxurious truffle preparations, and delicate red meats.
🥂 A rare and highly prized Grand Cru Burgundy, this wine is perfect for a connoisseur's dinner, a significant celebration, or as an exceptional gift.
BACKGROUND
Domaine Jean Yves Bizot is a small Burgundy wine producer located in the Côte de Nuits, making Pinot Noir on several small plots of the Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru vineyard and the Grand Cru chézeaux vineyard. It also produces small amounts of Chardonnay at the village and Burgundy Blanc levels, and has plots in Massanai and Burgundy Chapit. The total area of the estate is just over three hectares. The current incarnation of the domaine was founded in 1995, when Jean Yves Bizot, a professor of oenology, inherited the domaine and vineyards from his family and followed a largely unconventional winemaking process.
