Anais is a featured red wine from Saint-Joseph. By using mainly old vine Syrah around hillside, store in barrel around 20 days after harvested, and then press. Then store in oak barrel aged for 18 months.
BACKGROUND
Domaine du Chêne was founded by Marc and Dominique in 1985. It is a small family winery located in the village of Saint-Joseph. Their adult children, Anaïs and Julien, joined the winery in July 2012. The grapevines are planted in granite soil, extending from the hillsides to the plateau, with an average vine age of 40 years. The annual production is approximately 120,000 bottles.
