DETAILS
Château Montrose is a winery in the Saint-Estèphe appellation of the Bordeaux region of France. The wine produced here was classified as one of fourteen Deuxièmes Crus (Second Growths) in the original Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855.
Domaine Jacky Truchot-Martin is a now defunct wine producer formerly based in the village of Morey-Saint-Denis, France, crafting a range of minimal-intervention Pinot Noir wines from local vineyards. Bottles of his wines (which are increasingly rare) are much sought-after on the secondary market. Truchot made wines at the domaine until his retirement in 2005. He sold off all his holdings except for a small portion of his vines in Clos Sorbés, near his home in Morey, for his own production and consumption.
