🏰 Pierre Boisson Bourgogne Murgey de Limozin 2021 comes from a 【challenging yet surprisingly good quality and classic style vintage for white Burgundy】. The 2021 Burgundy vintage was marked by historically low yields due to severe frosts, but the resulting white wines are described as "equally impressive" and possessing a "return to a more classic style, which means fresher and lighter wines". Pierre Boisson is a highly sought-after producer, known for crafting wines of purity and precision. Expect a vibrant and fresh Chardonnay, with good acidity and a clear expression of its terroir, offering elegance and a lighter, more refined profile.
🍴 This elegant white Burgundy pairs beautifully with roasted chicken, grilled white fish, creamy pasta dishes, or fresh goat cheese.
🥂 Ideal for a sophisticated dinner with friends, a wine exploration evening, or as a thoughtful gift for a Burgundy enthusiast who appreciates classic styles.
BACKGROUND
Domaine Pierre Boisson/Anne Boisson is a family winery. The winery is run by father Bernard (retired in 2016), son Pierre and daughter Anne. Although it is the same winery, the wines produced by the three people will be labeled separately. on their respective names. They jointly own 8.5 hectares of land around the Cote de Beaune, and the vineyard's terroir is wet stone and flint, giving the grapes more minerality.
