🏰【A standout of the 2014 布根地 white wine vintage, Lucien Le Moine Montrachet Grand Cru exhibits unparalleled balance and depth, hailed as a top wine of its year】. Lucien Le Moine is a renowned négociant-éleveur, celebrated for meticulously sourcing grapes from premier vineyards and employing minimal intervention in winemaking. The 2014 vintage in 布根地 was generally regarded as fresh and vibrant for white wines. This Montrachet Grand Cru is noted for its impeccable balance and was an early candidate for wine of the vintage.
It presents a crisp, Granny Smith apple, and granite-scented bouquet that is very tightly wound. The palate is beautifully structured, with notes of wet stone, pineapple, sweet spices, lemon, apple, and vanilla. It's a powerhouse – deep and rich yet vibrant and elegant, culminating in a long, sappy finish with a hint of cinnamon. Some tasting notes also describe exotic fruit, butterscotch, popcorn, ripe apples, and caramel.
🍴 This magnificent white 布根地 wine is perfectly suited for luxurious pairings such as roasted lobster with drawn butter, pan-seared scallops, rich poultry dishes with delicate cream sauces, or a mature Comté cheese. For an exquisite Eastern pairing, consider steamed garoupa with superior soy sauce or a delicate double-boiled chicken soup with fish maw.
🥂 Ideal for high-end corporate dinners, celebrating significant personal milestones, or a connoisseur's tasting event.
