Amiot Servelle, Chambolle Musigny Derriere La Grange 1er Cru, 2018
🏰The 2018 Amiot Servelle Chambolle Musigny Derriere La Grange 1er Cru is a 【Burgundy Pinot Noir that beautifully expresses the elegance and finesse】 typical of Chambolle Musigny, combined with the ripeness and generosity of the 2018 vintage. The 2018 vintage in Burgundy was generally warm and sunny, producing wines with rich fruit and good concentration, while retaining freshness. Expect a wine with vibrant red fruit aromas, floral notes, and a silky texture, characteristic of this esteemed 1er Cru vineyard.
🍴 This elegant Pinot Noir is a superb match for classic French cuisine, particularly roasted poultry like duck or guinea fowl, pan-seared salmon, mushroom-based dishes, and lighter red meats such as veal or lamb. It also pairs well with soft, earthy cheeses.
🥂 Ideal for a refined dinner party, a romantic evening, or as a thoughtful gift for a Burgundy lover. It's approachable now for its fruit-forward charm but will continue to evolve and gain complexity with a few more years in the cellar.
BACKGROUND
Domaine Amiot Servelle is a leading wine producer based in the village of Chambolle-Musigny in Burgundy's Côte d'Or district, with seven hectares (17 acres) of Pinot Noir vines. This includes vines from six premier vineyards. The company produces a range of wines from the region's top vineyards, including wines from the renowned Les Amoureuses vineyard, dominated by Pinot Noir. The history of the winery can be traced back to the 1920s. The owner's grandfather began planting grape vines in the village, and his parents also founded a winery. The owner himself founded Domaine Amiot-Servelle in 1989.
