Philippe Pacalet, Gevrey Chambertin Petite Chapelle 1er Cru, 2020
🏰 The 2020 Philippe Pacalet Gevrey-Chambertin Petite Chapelle 1er Cru hails from a vintage celebrated for optimal grape maturity, balancing freshness with richness. This Pinot Noir offers a fantastic mix of ripe concentration and energy, making it enjoyable in its youth yet promising excellent aging potential. Expect a deep ruby red with violet reflections, and complex aromas of ripe red fruits, subtle spices, forest floor notes, and elegant floral hints. The palate is fresh and structured, revealing fine tannins, good tension, and a persistent finish with subtle toasted notes. The fruit profile leans towards juicy raspberries, black cherries, and pomegranate, complemented by dried herbs, smoky nuances, and a touch of forest floor, with minimal oak allowing the terroir to shine. 【 優雅而強勁的Gevrey-Chambertin風土表現 】
🍴 This refined 布根地 red pairs beautifully with red meats like roast beef or lamb, game such as venison, and mature cheeses like Époisses or fresh Brillat-Savarin. Matured rib steak or herb-crusted rack of lamb would also be excellent choices.
🥂 Ideal for important business meals, wedding anniversaries, or refined evenings among connoisseurs. This wine is best enjoyed over the next 5-10 years, with a peak drinking window expected between 2026 and 2032. Serve at 16-18°C, and decant for 30 minutes for young bottles to enhance the aromas.
