🏰Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru is renowned for producing Pinot Noir wines that are 【highly fragrant in their youth, offering soft, ripe fruit flavors that typically peak between 10-20 years】. This Grand Cru appellation in the Côte de Nuits is known for its vivid coloration, ranging from deep ruby to black-cherry. The wines are among the most seductive of all Chambertin crus, offering opulent fruit, refined tannins, and remarkable depth. Expect aromas suggesting strawberry, blackcurrant, gooseberry, fruit pits, liquorice, and spices, with violet, moss, and underbrush also likely to be present. On the palate, power, opulence, and elegance unite to make a full and complex body, full of sap and voluptuous texture.
