Patrice Rion, Chambolle Musigny Les Cras 1er Cru, 2016
🏰 The 2016 vintage in Burgundy was highly regarded, particularly for its red wines, offering a beautiful balance of ripeness and freshness. Patrice Rion's Chambolle Musigny Les Cras 1er Cru 2016 is expected to be a superb example of this elegant appellation. Known for its delicate yet profound Pinot Noir expressions, this wine should exhibit vibrant red berry fruits, floral notes, and a distinct minerality derived from the "Cras" vineyard. Expect a silky texture and a long, refined finish. 【Delicate yet profound Pinot Noir】
🍴 Food pairing suggestions: This exquisite red Burgundy would be magnificent with roasted guinea fowl, pan-seared duck breast with cherry sauce, or a delicate mushroom tart. It also pairs well with mild, earthy cheeses.
🥂 Event suggestions: An excellent choice for a romantic dinner, a sophisticated gathering, or as a cherished gift for a Burgundy enthusiast.
BACKGROUND
Domaine Patrice Rion was founded in 2000 by Patrice Rion, who already had nearly 20 years of winemaking experience. The winery owns high-quality vineyards in Chambolle-Musigny and Nuits-Saint-Georges. In 2003, the first-class vineyard Clos Saint-Marc was acquired. The winery’s only top vineyard, Bonnes Mares, is now out of print. It is very rare and very small, only 0.06 hectares, and only one barrel can be brewed.
