🍴 This Grand Cru Chablis demands equally refined food pairings. It is an exceptional match for fresh oysters, particularly those with a pronounced brininess, or delicate caviar. Consider it with grilled or pan-seared scallops, lobster, or rich, flaky white fish. It also pairs beautifully with poultry in a cream sauce or aged, firm cheeses like Comté or Gruyère. For an Asian-inspired meal, it would complement high-quality sushi or sashimi.
🥂 Vincent Dauvissat's Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru 2018 is an ideal choice for a celebratory dinner, a special anniversary, or a serious wine tasting. Its complexity and aging potential make it a wine to be savored and appreciated over time. Serve it chilled, around 10-12°C (50-54°F), to allow its intricate layers of flavor and minerality to shine.
