🏰 The 2022 Domaine Dujac Echezeaux Grand Cru is described as broad and supple, bursting with aromas of smoky plums, wild berries, peonies, orange zest, and spices. Full-bodied, unctuous, and enveloping, its textural attack segues into a fleshy but succulent core of fruit framed by sweet, powdery tannins. The 2022 vintage in Burgundy saw a harvest that began on August 29, with clean fruit and good volume. Winemaker Jeremy Seysses noted the 2022s are less "thuggish" than some 2018s, feeling they are more delicate. 【 Broad, supple, and age-worthy Grand Cru 】. This wine is made with 100% whole clusters, contributing to its vibrant red fruit, mainly raspberry, and a sort of brioche reduction on the nose. While somewhat austere at present, it is a wine for the ages, with enough concentration and tension to indicate successful aging.
🍴 This exquisite Grand Cru Pinot Noir is an ideal partner for sophisticated dishes. Think roasted game birds like pheasant or quail, duck confit, or a rich mushroom and truffle pasta. It also pairs beautifully with fine cuts of roasted lamb or beef, and delicate cheeses.
🥂 Perfect for a significant celebration, a serious wine tasting, or a special occasion that calls for a truly exceptional and age-worthy Burgundy. Its complexity and evolving character will reward patience and thoughtful appreciation.
