🏰news | features + short tasting note IN ENGLISH
【Bouchard Pere & Fils Musigny Grand Cru is an exceptionally rare and historic expression from one of 布根地's (Burgundy's) most revered Grand Crus, offering profound complexity and elegance from the 1970 vintage.】 The 1970 vintage in 布根地 (Burgundy) was generally considered good, producing wines that could age gracefully. Expect a very mature wine with a pale garnet hue and highly evolved, tertiary aromas of dried roses, forest floor, truffle, game, and exotic spices. The palate will be delicate and ethereal, with fully integrated, silky tannins and a remarkably long, nuanced finish, showcasing the profound depth of Musigny at its advanced age.

This extremely rare and delicate Grand Cru calls for equally refined and simple pairings. Consider roasted squab with truffles, a delicate mushroom consommé, or very fine aged Comté cheese. The goal is to complement, not overpower, its subtle complexities.
🥂 fit for event suggestion IN ENGLISH
An unparalleled choice for a truly historic tasting, a once-in-a-lifetime celebration, or as a centerpiece for a serious collector. Given its extreme age, expect a very old wine style with highly delicate and evolved flavors and aromas. The condition of the cork and capsule should be meticulously checked, and decanting is essential to remove any sediment and allow the wine to gently open up. Be prepared for the possibility of fragility, but also for moments of sublime beauty.
