Château Montrose is a winery in the Saint-Estèphe appellation of the Bordeaux region of France. The wine produced here was classified as one of fourteen Deuxièmes Crus (Second Growths) in the original Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855.
Clos de l'Oretiore is a Bordeaux wine producer located on the northeast slope of Saint-Émilion. The estate has a history dating back to the 1800s and was originally part of Château Peyreau's vineyard land. The château's 10.3-hectare (25-acre) vineyard is composed of sandy soils with clay subsoil. The site is Merlot dominant – around 90 percent is planted to Merlot, five percent to Cabernet Franc, and five to Cabernet Sauvignon.
