Château Laroze is a Grand Cru Classé wine estate in the Saint-Émilion district of Bordeaux, known for its red wine of the same name based on the Merlot grape. There are now 27 hectares (67 acres) of vines on silica-clay soils surrounding the château at the bottom of a hill to the northwest of Saint-Émilion village. Plantings are 68 percent Merlot with 26 percent Cabernet Franc, and six percent Cabernet Sauvignon. Annual production totals around 110,000 bottles, of which 80,000 is the grand vin.
