Château Montrose is a winery in the Saint-Estèphe appellation of the Bordeaux region of France. The wine produced here was classified as one of fourteen Deuxièmes Crus (Second Growths) in the original Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855.
Chateau Grand Pontet is a Bordeaux wine producer located in Saint Emilion, situated on the region's famous limestone plateau.The estate spans 14 hectares (36 acres) of vines in a single block composed of three soil types: a shallow layer of soil on limestone, clay-limestone and sandy soil with clay-limestone subsoil. The site is planted to 70 percent Merlot, 15 percent Cabernet Franc and 15 percent Cabernet Sauvignon with vines averaging 35 years old.
