The Azores Wine Company was founded in 2014 by winemaker Antonio Macanita to revive the historic, volcanic vineyards of the Azores islands in Portugal. Located on the island of Pico, the vines are planted in unique stone corrals to protect them from Atlantic winds. Their wines are celebrated for their extreme salinity, volcanic minerality, and crisp acidity.
