Drouhin Laroze, Chambertin Clos De Beze Grand Cru, 1995
🏰 The 【Drouhin Laroze Chambertin Clos de Beze Grand Cru 1995】 is a product of a very good Burgundy vintage, which, despite tricky weather, yielded intense and concentrated wines with the structure for long aging. The Cote de Nuits, where Chambertin Clos de Beze is located, produced particularly excellent reds in 1995. These wines were initially firm and concentrated, with ripe fruit, graceful tannins, and sufficient acidity to ensure a long life. After nearly three decades, the best wines from this vintage are now beginning to truly blossom, shedding their youthful austerity to reveal greater complexity. Expect a wine with deep color, evolving red and dark fruit, savory notes, and a refined texture.
🍴 This powerful and age-worthy Grand Cru Pinot Noir is ideal for classic pairings such as roasted venison, slow-braised beef cheeks, or a rich truffle-infused pasta. It also complements mature, earthy cheeses beautifully.
🥂 A magnificent choice for a significant anniversary, a special celebration, or a serious tasting among connoisseurs.
For a wine of this age, the cork may be fragile; an Ah-So opener or Durand is recommended. Gentle decanting for 1-2 hours will help separate any sediment and allow the wine to fully express its evolved aromas. Serve at 16-18°C (60-64°F).
