🏰 The 2020 Meursault Chevalieres from Henri Germain comes from a vintage that was warm and dry but avoided the excessive heat of 2018 and 2019, resulting in wines with good fruit, body, and structure. This white Burgundy offers a delightful balance of generous ripeness with crisp citrus acidity and salinity.
🍴 For a classic pairing, enjoy this Meursault with grilled white fish or roasted chicken. It also complements delicate fish dishes in creamy sauces or white meats and poultry served in cream sauces.
🥂 Perfect for a sophisticated dinner party or a special celebration, this wine is ready to impress.
BACKGROUND
Domaine Henri Germain is located in the village of Meursault in Burgundy, France. The primary grape varieties cultivated are Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The estate was founded in 1973 when Henri Germain purchased some Meursault vineyards from his wife's family, the Pillots, and acquired additional land in Chassagne. Currently, the domaine owns around 7 hectares of land, spread across Meursault, Chassagne-Montrachet, and Beaune.
