FEATURES
🏰 Domaine Georges Vernay's Cote Rotie La Blonde du Seigneur 2022 is an organically farmed Northern Rhône gem, showcasing a harmonious balance of freshness and maturity with powerful black fruit, spice, and floral aromatics, crafted by a gifted winemaker. This vintage is characterized by a harmonious balance between freshness and maturity, rated 93 by La Revue du Vin de France. Made from 95% Syrah and 5% Viognier from mature vines (30+ years old) on the 'Côte Blonde' schist slopes, it's farmed organically by hand and aged in oak. Expect a deep red color with violet highlights, and powerful aromas of ripe black fruits, fine spices, floral notes, and subtle smoky hints. The palate offers an elegant structure, silky persistent tannins, fresh attack, and a long, persistent finish with remarkable aromatic complexity. It's a complex, fresh, and elegant wine with a bouquet of spices, smoke, violets, roses, and dark wild berries, intertwined with a hint of herbs, leading to a long, briny, and appetizing finish.
🍴 This exquisite Cote Rotie pairs excellently with matured ribeye steak, herb-crusted rack of lamb, Époisses cheese, or seared foie gras with Périgord black truffle. It's also a fantastic match for lamb, cured meats, furred and feathered game, red meat, and hard cheeses.
🥂 Ideal for an important business lunch, a wedding anniversary, or a gastronomic celebration with friends, this wine can be enjoyed now after decanting but will gain complexity with age.
