🏰 The 2019 Burgundy vintage is widely considered truly excellent, even legendary, for both reds and whites. Despite a mild winter, chilly spring frosts, and a hot, dry summer with drought stress, the vines proved remarkably resilient, producing wines with a classical profile. Yields were significantly reduced, but this translated into fabulous quality, with concentrated flavors and excellent acidity. Arlaud's Bonnes Mares Grand Cru from 2019 would embody these characteristics, offering a complex, richly fruit-forward, and refined expression of Pinot Noir. Expect glorious fruit, excellent structure, and great terroir typicity. 【 Legendary quality from a low-yielding vintage 】.
🍴 This powerful and elegant Grand Cru Burgundy would be an exceptional pairing for sophisticated dishes such as roasted venison with berry reduction, pan-seared duck breast, or truffle-infused beef tenderloin. It also complements aged Comté or Époisses cheese beautifully.
🥂 An ideal wine for a significant celebration, a high-end tasting event, or as a centerpiece for a gourmet dinner where the wine is meant to shine. It's a wine to impress and savor.
