750ml

🏰The 2006 Meo Camuzet Corton Le Rognet Grand Cru is a testament to the producer's skill, offering a 【powerful yet refined expression of Corton's terroir】. The 2006 vintage in Burgundy was generally good, producing wines with ripeness and structure, and this particular bottling showcases a beautiful balance of dark fruit, spice, and earthy undertones. Expect notes of black cherry, plum, licorice, and a hint of forest floor, all framed by firm tannins and a long, complex finish.
🍴 This robust Grand Cru Burgundy demands equally rich dishes. Consider roasted lamb with herbs, beef bourguignon, or a hearty wild mushroom tart. For an Eastern pairing, try slow-cooked Cantonese beef brisket or a rich Peking duck.
🥂 Ideal for a celebratory meal, a special anniversary, or a serious tasting among connoisseurs.
BACKGROUND
Domaine Meo-Camuzet is located in the village of Vosne-Romanee, France. The estate employs organic fertilizers and advanced cultivation techniques to maintain ecological balance in the vineyards. Coupled with the exceptional terroir and the legacy of Henri Jayer, Jean-Nicholas' efforts have elevated the estate to a top-tier winery in just a few decades. In 2003, Jean-Nicholas founded the négociant business Méo-Camuzet Frères et Soeurs. Although the grapes are purchased, the team personally supervises the vineyards to ensure the quality of the grape sources.
