🏰 Perrier-Jouët La Belle Epoque 2014 is a prestigious vintage Champagne, renowned for its elegance and floral character, often presented in its iconic Emile Gallé-designed anemone bottle. The 2014 vintage in Champagne was generally considered good, marked by a cool and wet spring followed by a warm and sunny August and September, allowing for good ripeness and acidity. This resulted in Champagnes with freshness, balance, and good aging potential. La Belle Epoque 2014 would showcase Perrier-Jouët's signature delicate style, with notes of white flowers, citrus, and orchard fruits, often evolving to reveal hints of brioche and toasted nuts with age. It's a Champagne celebrated for its finesse and vibrant acidity. 【 An iconic vintage Champagne, celebrated for its floral elegance and delicate finesse. 】
🥂 This exquisite Champagne is perfect for grand celebrations, such as weddings, significant anniversaries, or New Year's Eve. It's also an ideal choice for a sophisticated brunch, a high-end reception, or as a luxurious gift.
🍴 Perrier-Jouët La Belle Epoque 2014 pairs beautifully with delicate and refined dishes. Consider fresh seafood like oysters, scallops, or grilled white fish. It also complements light poultry dishes, creamy risottos, and soft, mild cheeses. For a luxurious touch, serve it with caviar or foie gras.
BACKGROUND
The vineyards of Perrier-Jouët encompass 65 hectares (161 acres), with each plot being picked and vinified separately before being blended into its eventual cuvée. The blend is chosen by current cellar master, Herve Deschamps, who is just the seventh cellar master in the house's history. Chardonnay is used above Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier and gives a house style that is fruit-driven, floral and elegant. The wines are then aged for a minimum of three years underground in Perrier-Jouët's chalk cellars before release.
