🏰news | features + short tasting note
【From the historic Grand Cru vineyard of Clos Vougeot, Castagnier's 2023 Grand Cru is a Burgundy treasure built for aging.】 This Pinot Noir typically presents a deep cherry red color with an intensely aromatic bouquet of concentrated red and black fruits like cherries, blackberries, and blackcurrants. The palate is expressive, round, and muscular, with a fine balance between mellow tannins and discreet acidity, promising excellent aging potential. The 2023 vintage in Burgundy is showing promise for wines with good ripeness and balance.
