🏰 The 2014 Beaujolais vintage was exceptionally good, hailed as a 【dream vintage】 with many outstanding wines. Paul Janin's Moulin a Vent Clos du Tremblay from this year is expected to be a prime example, offering a beautiful black cherry color and abundant fruit and concentration. Critics noted the 2014s exhibit lively berry and floral character, zesty minerality, and good structure, making them appealing for both immediate enjoyment and cellaring.
🍴 This vibrant red Beaujolais, with its fresh fruit and delicate tannins, pairs wonderfully with a variety of dishes. It's a good companion for roasted chestnuts, hearty soups, white meats like roasted chicken or pork tenderloin, and fresh cheeses. Mushroom dishes, vegetable-based pasta, and even pizza can also be delightful pairings.
🥂 Excellent for a casual weeknight dinner, a picnic, or a gathering with friends. Its freshness and approachability make it a versatile choice for many occasions, especially when you want a red wine that's full of character but not overly heavy.
