Hugel, Alsace Riesling Selection De Grains Nobles, 2011
🏰 The 2011 vintage in Alsace was characterized by an exceptionally mild winter and warm spring, followed by a surprisingly cool, damp summer and a return to warm, settled weather in mid-August. While Vendanges Tardives were more successful, Hugel's Alsace Riesling Sélection de Grains Nobles from 2011, made from individually selected overripe grapes affected by noble rot, would still offer a magnificent, well-balanced bouquet and a harmonious palate. These wines are known for their almost unlimited aging ability. 【Noble rot wine with almost unlimited aging ability】.
🍴 This exquisite sweet wine is a perfect match for rich, decadent desserts, especially those with fruit or caramel notes. It also pairs beautifully with blue cheeses like Roquefort or Stilton, foie gras terrine, or even certain Asian cuisines like Chinese duck pancakes with hoisin sauce.
🥂 An ideal choice for a celebratory dessert course, a luxurious aperitif, or a thoughtful gift for a connoisseur. It's perfect for marking special occasions or enjoying a moment of pure indulgence.
