🏰 The 1991 Argiano Brunello di Montalcino is a testament to the longevity of classic Tuscan Sangiovese, offering a complex tapestry of mature flavors from a highly-regarded vintage. From a year known for producing wines with excellent structure, this mature Brunello now reveals a captivating bouquet of 【dried cherries, savory tobacco, worn leather, and earthy forest floor notes】, culminating in a long, elegant finish with beautifully softened tannins.
🍴 This venerable Italian red is an exquisite companion to traditional Tuscan fare such as rich wild boar ragu, a perfectly grilled Bistecca alla Fiorentina, or aged Pecorino cheese. It also shines with dishes featuring truffles.
🥂 An exceptional choice for a celebratory dinner focused on fine Italian cuisine or a special tasting event exploring the evolution of Brunello. Given its age, expect a delicate cork and potential sediment; decanting is highly recommended to allow the wine to breathe and separate from any deposits. Serve at cellar temperature, around 16-18°C (60-64°F).
BACKGROUND

Their Brunello di Montalcino is classic and elegant, showcasing the Sangiovese grape's complex aromas of red cherry, leather, and earth, with excellent aging potential.
