🏰The 2022 vintage in Burgundy is generally regarded as a good year, offering wines with ripeness and balance. Henri Germain's Meursault Chevalieres, a classic white Burgundy, is expected to showcase the appellation's signature richness and complexity. Expect a wine with a 【bright, golden hue and an aromatic bouquet of ripe orchard fruits like apple and pear, intertwined with delicate floral notes and a hint of toasted almond or hazelnut from subtle oak aging】. The palate should be 【generous and creamy, yet balanced by a refreshing acidity, leading to a long, mineral-driven finish】. This wine embodies the elegant and terroir-driven style Henri Germain is known for.
🍴 This elegant Meursault is perfect with pan-seared scallops in a butter sauce, roasted chicken with herbs, or a creamy mushroom risotto. For a local touch, try it with steamed garoupa with ginger and spring onion, or a rich abalone and chicken congee. It also pairs beautifully with aged Comté or Gruyère cheese.
🥂 Ideal for a sophisticated dinner party, a celebratory lunch, or as a thoughtful gift for a white Burgundy enthusiast.
