🏰【The 2000 vintage in Bordeaux was highly acclaimed, producing wines with richness, concentration, and excellent aging potential.】 Connetable de Talbot, the second wine of the esteemed Chateau Talbot, benefits from this exceptional vintage. Expect a classic Bordeaux profile with notes of ripe blackcurrant, cedar, tobacco, and a hint of spice. The palate should be well-structured with firm yet integrated tannins, good acidity, and a lingering finish, showing the maturity and complexity that two decades in bottle can bring.
🍴 This mature Bordeaux is a superb match for roasted lamb, beef Wellington, duck confit, or a rich mushroom gratin. It also pairs well with aged hard cheeses.
🥂 An excellent choice for celebrating a 2000 milestone, a formal dinner, or a vertical tasting of Bordeaux wines.
