🏰The 2015 Château Thivin Brouilly Reverdon is a "knockout Brouilly", celebrated for its 【luscious fruit and granite-driven structure】 from a vintage of "richness and energy". This wine presents a beautiful cherry red color with a powerful, primal bouquet of dark red fruit, herbs, and a characteristic cherry pit note. On the palate, it's fleshy and supple with good acidity, soft leather, black cherry, and a touch of spice on a velvety tannic finish. Expect aromas of red and black fruits with iris and violet scents, leading to a silky wine with soft tannins and persistence.
🍴 Its medium body and soft tannins make it a perfect companion for lighter fare, white meats like roast chicken or turkey, cooked pork meats, and jugged rabbit. It also pairs well with Baeckeoffe, Steak Tartare, or Camembert cheese.
🥂 Excellent for a casual weeknight dinner, a picnic, or a gathering with friends where a versatile and enjoyable red is appreciated. Serve ideally at 14-16°C. While enjoyable now, it has evolved since its youth, offering a more serious and structured profile.
