Henri Germain, Chassagne Montrachet Morgeot Les Fairendes 1er Cru, 2017
🏰 The 2017 vintage in Burgundy for white wines was generally excellent, offering wines with both ripeness and refreshing acidity. Henri Germain's Chassagne-Montrachet Morgeot Les Fairendes 1er Cru 2017 is a white Burgundy that typically presents a beautiful balance of fruit, minerality, and well-integrated oak. Tasting notes often highlight aromas of apple, pear, white flowers, and a hint of vanilla, with a polished, precise, and seamless palate that is generous and open. It's described as very elegant, with good snap and purity. 【 Elegant, precise, and seamless palate 】.
🍴 This Chassagne-Montrachet is a versatile food wine. It would be exquisite with pan-seared foie gras, roasted lobster, or creamy chicken dishes. For Asian cuisine, consider delicate dim sum, steamed crab, or even a rich Japanese scallop dish.
🥂 Ideal for a sophisticated lunch, a celebratory seafood dinner, or as a luxurious aperitif. Its accessibility in its youth, combined with its aging potential, makes it suitable for various special occasions.
