FEATURES
🏰 Éliane Delalot is a tiny, sustainable grower in the western Marne Valley, run by the mother-and-son duo Éliane Delalot and Jérôme Lefèvre. Their 'Impressions' Champagne is a unique expression, crafted from 100% Meunier sourced from a special parcel of 50-year-old vines called “Les Boulards.” The cuvée and a slightly rougher press fraction are both utilized, adding layers of concentration, with maturation in used barrique contributing an exotic smokiness. Only 2,600 bottles were made, making it a rare find. 【Old-vine Meunier from a unique parcel, limited production】. This Brut Nature Champagne offers an indulgent, cola-toned profile with preserved citrus, cinnamon syrup, lavender, gentian, and quinine in an attractive yet forceful composition. The palate reveals a pillowy oiliness infused with fresh acidity, leading to a sharp, lightly metallic, and noticeably very dry finish. Other notes include ripe blueberries, red cherries, orange peel, fresh baked bread, white pepper, malt, and a distinct lees influence. Expect precise sour cherry, wild raspberry, lovely brioche, and a long refreshing mineral finish.
🍴 This culinary Champagne is best enjoyed with food. It pairs wonderfully with rich, gravy-rich meat dishes and curries, pork, shellfish, rich fish like salmon or tuna, mild and soft cheeses, grilled seafood, white meats, and refined contemporary cuisine.
🥂 An excellent choice for a special occasion, a gourmet meal, or as a sophisticated accompaniment to a culinary experience. Its unique character makes it a conversation starter.
