750ml

🏰 The 2019 Pierre Morey Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru hails from a celebrated parcel in Clos Poirier, directly adjacent to the esteemed Le Montrachet vineyard. This vintage showcases fruit harvested in perfectly healthy condition, promising exceptional quality. The wine presents an intense bouquet of yellow plum, honeysuckle, and crushed stone, with subtle hints of blanched almonds, dried white flowers, beeswax, and struck match. On the palate, it is full-bodied, satiny, and layered, offering rich and concentrated flavors of orange oil and pear. It boasts a deep, textural core, vibrant acidity, and a bright, saline finish that builds convincingly to a very persistent conclusion. An almost imperceptible whisper of oak frames its ripe and exceptionally fresh aromas. This Grand Cru white Burgundy is known for its outstanding development potential, making it a superb wine for cellaring. 【 Grand Cru from a celebrated parcel touching Le Montrachet 】
🍴 This magnificent white Burgundy demands equally refined food pairings. It would be exquisite with roasted lobster, pan-seared scallops with a beurre blanc sauce, rich poultry dishes like guinea fowl with truffles, or a creamy risotto with wild mushrooms. Fine aged cheeses such as Comté or Gruyère would also be a splendid match.
🥂 Ideal for a landmark celebration, a sophisticated tasting event, or a truly special gastronomic experience. This wine is built for the long haul, so consider cellaring it for several more years to fully appreciate its evolving complexity.
