🏰The 2017 Prieure Roch Vosne Romanee Les Suchots 1er Cru is a 【distinctive expression from a Premier Cru vineyard often considered Grand Cru caliber】, crafted by a producer renowned for natural winemaking. Les Suchots is recognized as a prime candidate for Grand Cru elevation, situated near legendary vineyards like Romanée Saint-Vivant. The 2017 Burgundy red vintage is praised for its magnificent balance, sweet red fruit, and silky tannins, offering youthful charm and graceful evolution. Prieure Roch's philosophy often results in wines with unique savory, earthy, and spicy notes alongside vibrant red fruits. Expect a complex nose of red berries, tobacco, hazelnut, and subtle earthy nuances, leading to a silky palate with fresh cherry notes and a long, flavorful finish. This vintage is noted for its approachability and strong terroir character.
🍴 This elegant Vosne Romanee pairs beautifully with classic dishes like beef "Mironton," rabbit with chanterelles, venison with cranberries, or a selection of mature cheeses. It also complements roasted duck or a delicate beef tenderloin.
🥂 An excellent choice for a special occasion, a gathering of Burgundy enthusiasts, or for those who appreciate the unique, natural style of Prieure Roch, offering both immediate enjoyment and medium-term aging potential.
