🏰 Domaine des Lambrays is a historic and highly esteemed estate in Morey-Saint-Denis, most famous for its monopole Grand Cru Clos des Lambrays. While the 'Morey Saint Denis' appellation wine is a village-level offering, it benefits from the same meticulous care and winemaking philosophy as their Grand Cru. The 2015 vintage in Burgundy was widely lauded as exceptional for red wines, producing rich, concentrated, and beautifully balanced wines with excellent aging potential. This Morey-Saint-Denis from Des Lambrays would therefore be expected to be a superb example of the village, offering depth, complexity, and a true reflection of the vintage's quality. 【 Historic estate's meticulous winemaking 】
🍴 This elegant yet structured Morey-Saint-Denis would be a fantastic partner for classic Burgundian dishes such as coq au vin, beef bourguignon, or roasted game birds like pheasant or partridge. It also pairs well with earthy mushroom dishes and medium-aged cheeses. For an Eastern pairing, consider a refined Cantonese braised beef brisket or a delicate Japanese sukiyaki.
🥂 Ideal for a special dinner, a gathering of Burgundy lovers, or as a wine to cellar for further development. The 2015 vintage's quality means this wine is enjoyable now with decanting, but will also reward patient aging.
