🏰 The 2015 vintage in Burgundy was exceptional, characterized by a mild winter and spring, followed by dry and hot conditions in July, leading to a healthy and concentrated grape harvest. This resulted in rich, powerful, and opulent red wines with abundant tannins, suitable for long-term aging. The 2015 Leroy Pommard Les Vignots is described as "outrageously beautiful," exhibiting remarkable depth and textural richness. It is surprisingly expressive and approachable even now, with a profile of dark berries, spice, and warm earth nuances. Some tasters note it as dark, broody, and unyielding, suggesting it needs more time to fully reveal its brilliance. 【 Exceptional 2015 Burgundy Vintage 】
🍴 This savory and classic Pinot Noir pairs wonderfully with rich poultry like duck, goose, and other game birds. It also complements roast beef, beef bourguignon, grilled or roast pork, and various meat terrines. For cheese, consider Epoisses.
🥂 This wine is ready to drink but also has excellent aging potential. It's perfect for a sophisticated dinner party, a special celebration, or a quiet evening savoring a truly remarkable Burgundy. Its depth and complexity make it a fantastic choice for a wine tasting event focusing on top-tier Pinot Noir.
