FEATURES
🏰 The 2019 Petit Figeac is the second wine of the esteemed Château Figeac, a Premier Grand Cru Classé 'A' estate in Saint-Émilion, Bordeaux. This vintage is lauded for its 【vivid purple hue and a great nose of black raspberry and mulberry fruits】, supported by notes of tobacco, flowers, cedar pencil, and Asian spices. The 2019 vintage in Bordeaux was generally excellent, producing wines with good structure and aging potential. Petit Figeac offers a plump, ripe, medium to full-bodied effort with a round, expansive mouthfeel and sweet tannins, making it beautifully done and approachable. It's considered an ideal introduction to the spirit of the estate, being lighter and less full-bodied than its senior.
🍴 This elegant red Bordeaux blend, with its complex aromas and smooth tannins, is a superb match for classic red meats like grilled or roasted Boeuf de Bresse, venison, or a rich beef stew. For an Eastern pairing, consider Cantonese roast duck, braised beef brisket, or even a flavorful lamb hot pot, where the wine's structure can stand up to the rich flavors.
🥂 Perfect for a celebratory dinner, a special gathering with connoisseurs, or as a thoughtful gift for a Bordeaux lover. It's drinking well now but has the potential to evolve for another 10-15 years.
