🏰 The 2005 vintage in Burgundy was highly acclaimed, producing wines with excellent concentration, structure, and aging potential. It is considered a benchmark vintage for Pinot Noir, offering both immediate appeal and long-term cellaring rewards. Henri Rebourseau is a historic domaine with significant holdings in Clos de Vougeot.
This Pinot Noir typically presents notes of red fruit (cherry, raspberry, cranberry), black fruit (blackberry, plum), earthy notes (leather, forest floor, truffle), and hints of oak, cedar, chocolate, eucalyptus, and spices. It is described as savory and classic, with a long and intense finish. 【 2005年勃艮第特級園的卓越表現 】
🍴 Food pairing suggestions: Duck, goose, game birds, beef, veal, and poultry are excellent choices. Traditional pairings for Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru are highly recommended.
🥂 Event suggestions: An excellent choice for a formal dinner, a special celebration, or a serious Burgundy tasting. Its complexity and aging potential make it suitable for events where the wine can be the star.
BACKGROUND
Domaine Henri Rebourseau is a well-regarded wine producer based in the village of Gevrey-Chambertin in the northern Côte de Nuits subregion of Burgundy's Côte d'Or heartland. The domaine produces principally red wines from the Pinot Noir variety. The estate began in the mid-19th century when Jean-Baptiste Rebourseau and his wife Louise-Victoire Philippon consolidated vineyard holdings. It was passed to his sons Émile and Henri, and in 1949 to Henri's son Pierre Rebourseau. In 1980, Pierre's grandson Jean de Surrel took over, shifting to organic and biodynamic viticulture. In 2018, Olivier and Martin Bouygues acquired a controlling share. Bénigne and Louis now manage the estate with Hervé Berland.
